The conception of the pouch is based on a new approach: 
instead of having the lens facing forward inside the pouch, body and lens are turned through ninety degrees for better protection from frontal attack in crowds… 



The base of the camera body faces forward, while the coupled lens projects sideways into a generous and well-padded space provided for it… (Even the long Tri-Elmar lens can be coupled to the body inside the pouch, which is heavily padded with high-density foam…)
In addition the camera is protected from dust by pleated extensions of the top of the gusset on either side, which fold down over the camera as the flap is closed, providing extra padding … 

Shoulder-strap and pad, as well as holster-type coupling to your trouser belt remain unchanged – the point being to help you become operational, optically - optimally…
